I picked Steve out of a bewildering number of EV charger installers and lucky I did. I initially wanted a full EV charger and Steve pointed me in towards one that would best suit my needs. However, after I purchased my PHEV I realised that a full EV was unnecessary but I was unsure of what to safely install. Steve came to do a site visit, worked out what would be the best option and we agreed the installation and the price then and there. The actual installation was quick and efficient. Throughout Steve demonstrated considerable knowledge, his work was quick, neat and properly carried out. I liked that he was easy to talk to, not pushy and he was patient, explaining the options. Absolutely first class! I bought a hybrid, knowing nothing about home chargers / installation. So my great good fortune that amongst the forest of suppliers who I was faced with, I came across Steve at EV Charge Solutions, who steered me through the whole process, requested specific video of my home electric set up / the bits n pieces extra i would need and determined I was good to go at a price I found very reasonable. He then advised me about the government grant, which was immediately approved when I applied. He also liaised with National Grid. So, from a starting communication on the afternoon of Friday 31st October, to a fully commissioned installation on the morning of 3rd November, it’s been plain sailing. If you’re new to this, as I still am, I couldn’t recommend Steve any more highly.
